Welcome to Star Trek Minutiae!
It’s all in the details! This site tries to venture where few webmasters have gone before. Starting with obscure references and little-known facts, we explore and expand the wondrous multiverse of Star Trek. From the complete history of the Earth-Romulan War to The Voyager Coronary, the funniest parody in existence, we put the “minute” in minutiae!
minutiae (plural noun) — the small, precise, or trivial details of something
- Starfleet Academy
- Starfleet Academy is a series of articles about the Star Trek universe, presented as courses for Academy cadets. Featured topics include starship design, a conjectural history of the Earth-Romulan War, a complete archive of the shooting scripts for TNG and DS9, a collection of fan fiction, and much more.
- The Subspace Cafe
- A semi-regular publication about recent (or not-so-recent) developments in the world of Star Trek and other science fiction-related topics. Reviews and commentary, musings about (fictional) politics and ethics, rants about inconsistency and idiocy, or any other soapbox material! Yes, it’s another blog.
- The Humor Archive
- A collection of the funniest and best parodies, jokes, and other humorous material of the World Wide Web. From long-form parody series like The Voyager Coronary and Star Trek: Series ? to short poems and lists, if it’s funny, we've got it here! (Readers are warned to visit the restroom before proceeding.)
- A catch-all section that contains anything that doesn’t fit in the other categories. The section includes a featured cross-series spaceship comparison chart, the “official” archive for Star Trek: Renaissance, a warp speed calculator, an abandoned fan fiction concept, and a smattering of other interesting articles.
